Our elitist Governing Philosophy

The political leaders appear to govern the country based on their elitist governing philosophy that they are the best. This elitist governing philosophy never changed for years. It may be represented as follows: "We are the best and when we are elected we represent you as leaders, and we have the mandate. We will use laws to get to what we want and as long as we get the laws we want passed we do not have to worry about your gripes or objections or injustice. It is because we are the elected leaders and we are the best and we know what are good for you and we cannot be popular we know that too but we will get what we want even if you do not like our unpopular NKF thinking of hoarding monies to look good for ourself. Our justice is the only justice : "NO FREE LUNCH, LOOK AFTER YOURSELF. WE WILL TAX AND PROFITEER AS WE LIKE EVEN MAKING DOUBLE ON LANDS AND ASSETS ALREADY OWNED BY PEOPLE USING GLCS TO CHARGE BACK ALL COSTS TO BUILD NATIONAL COFFER AND CLAIM CREDIT FOR OUR OWN GOVERNING SUCCESS AND BOAST TO THE WORLD AS WORLD-CLASS LEADERSHIP. Take us on if you can. Criticisms are gripes and will be ignored unless we have to contend with bigger fishes like foreign MNCs, port pelepas or Suzhou district authority" Based on the above-stated governing philosophy, we have produced many WEE SHU MINs now who only think that people are their own problems and as long as they are secured in their own foothold on power and connections and are getting their way through legalistic tweaking and talking loud to the media all problems will be solved. They do not understand the plight and suffering caused by their own callous taking from the pro-elite system, claim-credit self-glorifying system. A Wise man today also cannot do anything as many citizens have become WEE SHU MINS who think of maintaining his or her foothold afforded by connections and elitism supported by LEGALISTIC TWEAKING AND WINNERS TAKE ALL GOVERNING SYSTEM. _________________

After a hiatus, the "Get out of my elite uncaring face" incident resurfaces again.
As long this is being mentioned, it would mean that things have not changed for one bit.

Charlize, That is why the people are getting increasingly annoyed with elitism among our many elites. Even the new MPs and newly promoted ministers are talking like people owe the government their duty to worship them and the ground they walk on.

there are still the minority who condone the ways of leegime PAP. Was told to stop exposing PAP if the people can't come out with solutions, no govt in the world is perfect.

They may be under the influence of PAP propaganda.
Their outlook on politics may be narrow, which is why they view PAP as having done a good job.
I worry there might be more people like Wee shu min, know completely nothing about politics, but still want to act big.
This type of people if placed into position of power, will ruin the country.

Coincidently, if you google "Get out of my elite uncaring face", you will find that the blog still exists. ie. it has not been deleted after all the huha it has produced.
