i understand,....but dun u agree, in politics, power must come first,..LKY was a poor man before he holds power and from then on, he use a vacumn and suck whatever $$$ his vacumn can contain.
As for others trade like investors, bankers, etc etc, yes i would had agreed with you that money is the most important.

In the early years, most politicians arise from the poor working class, they must have the hunger for power and thereby money.A man can lost all his money, but he cannot lose his power, more so with a man of reputation and status, with power, he can rebuilt his empire with ease.
With the power that LKY have now, do you think he needs to spend a single cent today??? The power brings to a govt house, maids, travel, shopping, eating, medical, etc etc even toilet 20 cents is all paid by the Nation, that is you and me. You can laugh over it, but this is true.
