I quite liked what you wrote about a promise.. it is true, it is so easy to give a promise but does one know what he/she is in for? When Jieqi read it out, it struck me from the bottom of the heart. If you listen to those dedication program, you hear all these sec3 students saying "yong yuan ai ni" and stuff, it make me wonder if they know what yong yuan means. Promising something is no joke okay.... never promise anything you aren't prepared to or you are not sure if you can fulfill.
*hmmmm* I wonder if Jieqi know he actually has a discussion board specially about him....
Is jieqi the one who alway tease ah du?Originally posted by tinker:Haven't heard Jieqi for two weeks... he didn't work on first day of lunar new year while I completely missed last weekend.
Wonder if he would play ALL love songs for the entire 4 hour slot in celebration of Valentine's. Maybe he would. That's not a bad idea don't you think so?
Anyway, happy Valentine's to everyone. To those attached, good for you.. to those who are still single... keep looking but there is no need to rush.
No...Originally posted by startrightnow:Is jieqi the one who alway tease ah du?
oh... he mentioned he might switch to 12-4pm on saturday from May onwards. dunno... thinking of taking up driving, so not sure when classes will be.Well, that is not such a bad thing also... but I'll miss hearing his voice in the sunset, but that beats missing him altogether. Anyway, I just hope that he can do this as long as possible so... I'll be glad so long as it is good for his schedule. He seems to be busier and busier these days.
oh.. and Jieqi mentioned our name... so funny... the two of us still persisting, posting in this thread... now page 11 already... just the two of usWell, what did he say? Unfortunately, I couldn't tune in after 3 pm so I probably missed it.
Just learnt how to use the Quote button... I actually copy and pasted Shervon's stuff just now.Originally posted by browniebaobao:I have a question here...
I know Jie Qi always view this forum, but did he ever post a reply?![]()
*sigh*Originally posted by Hajime:Whatever JieQi's choices, I'm sure they will be much better than the predictable ones in the weekday slots. I am already sick of hearing the same songs 5 times a day every weekday. His slot is the only refuge I can turn to for a nice afternoon. Jia You ba ~![]()
Harlow tinker, i agree wtih u too...thanks for the warm welcome!Originally posted by tinker:Just learnt how to use the Quote button... I actually copy and pasted Shervon's stuff just now.
Well, I have never read a reply where the author claims to be Jieqi. He could have posted but did not identify himself. Hope this does not spark off a "I'm Liu Jieqi" posting in this thread.
Anyway, as for the point about 'yong yuan' and cheap promises, I just feel a little sorry for those who are flippant about it. Love, romance, emotions etc. are very precious... some aspects of it is once in a lifetime. If one does not know how to cherish it but give it away easily, I am afraid there is nothing but regret left at the end of the road.
Welcome aboard Browniebaobao and Startrightnow! Please make yourself feel comfortable.

Yerp! Agree... Zhao Yonghua is one of those 'who should have been' divas. Given their talent and dedication, they should be among the moon and the stars. But due to one reason or another, they fall short of the promise and potential in them through no fault of theirs. There are a few other 'who should have been'- the likes of Peng Jiahui, Wan Fang, etc.Originally posted by Hajime:Youngsters nowadays have Liang JingRu as their liao shang ge hou, but for me, it'll always be Zhao Yong Hua. What an underrated singer who sings so well but achieves so little
hi browniebaobao:Originally posted by browniebaobao:I don't believe in 'young yuan'..It is a wei zhi shu..I agree with you, tinker...youngsters nowadays can address their bf/gf as 'lao gong' or 'lao po' that easily...haiz..
yeah lor, he just say dedicate the song to that few of us who are still persisting in this thread, namly u n me cos our name appear on the last page.Originally posted by tinker:Well, what did he say? Unfortunately, I couldn't tune in after 3 pm so I probably missed it.
And of course, there is Hajime who has been supportive all these while. And... the occassional onlooker too.
Notice something? If Jieqi mentions our thread on air, it will get a re-surgence of life?
Anyway, I'm not aiming for any record or to prove any point. I just want to keep this going as long as Jieqi is still part timing as a dj. It's my way of saying thanks.
I know Huang Da Wei..very nice song..I think only he can sing with that 'feel'..Manyu singers like Wang Jie also sing this song..Originally posted by Hajime:My personal favourites are mostly those who are not the flavour of the mainstream fans. Huang Da Wei is my most fave male singer, but what can people remember him for? Wo Men Zhe Li Hai You Yu? I won't even recognise that as HIS song, everyone gave the attention to Nic Tse anyway.
I hope that he can release more albums, but highly unlikely as his last album "Qiu Tian 1944" had really bad sales. The world is cruel, no matter how talented you are, as long as you don't sell, sorry, Jiang MeiQi had the "sales ultimatum" which sparked a deluge of support, and thus her ability to release more albums after that, but what have David Huang??
Sorry if I sound upset, but whenever I listen to his CDs, I will feel that he really deserves much much more.
"Xiang fei de xin, fei xiang shi jie de jing tou..."
(PS: Another underrated one is Zhang Ke Fan, but again, that is another story...)
Hurray! I'm having my breakfast..Let's sit back and relax together..Right here waiting for Jie Qi's voice to be transmitted on air..hee hee Nice to know that you are online, tinker ^^Originally posted by tinker:It's Saturday already... Jieqi time coming!
Well, you have been forewarned... tune in at 12 noon just in case he decides to take the slot. And if he does not host both the 12 noon or 4 pm session, be sure to try the night sessions just in case. He has done a late night slot quite recently so...
In the meantime, sit tight and wat.
yes Ji You, i heard your voice before on air...like the way you speak...I'm Pei Ni..also call in whenever i could..Thanks for the warm welcome!Originally posted by Shervon99:hi browniebaobao:
welcome aboard. saw your later post. do we know each other? yeah, I'm Jiyou, sometimes if lucky can call thru n chat with Jieqi...
Gosh...you guys come in so early (1am) to post messages?Originally posted by Hajime:Btw, I noticed that no one mentioned anyone else besides JieQi anymore. Does that mean that no one is listening to weekday 933 anymore? Or am I being over-sensitive?
Very glad to have LiYi & ShiHan pair again, but it's in the afternoon when I am working...and the online radio signals keep dropping every other few secs then die altogether after a minute.
But to me, 933 now no longer has a "representative DJ" like Dasmond used to be last time. Not even ChongQing, maybe his face is just too child-like? Danny Yeo used to be a good runner-up for the hot seat, too bad he is no longer with 933.
