And so the message is very clear to commuters, its not our duty to help with the baggages or any big or small plastic bag.We will only help when we wish to...
Actually on this while i dun mind helping the pax loading their belongings to the boot, but i have too many experiences that some pax just stand there watching without initiative that they forget its actually their own responbility. Some don"t even said a simple "thank you" after you help them. So,i think it is time to draw a line.
Ya got the boot surcharge can consider helping lah. If not if help liao sprain our back how? Or you damage the expensive LV bag how? Run road ah? LOL
luggage, wheelchair yes.
shopping bags, no need.
Once a taxi driver took an ang mor to court to make an injury claim .
He sprained his back carry those heavy luggages .
And that ang mor just watch .
Court verdict : Ang mor to pay for the injuries .
Army days , my sergeant told me : Off days is a priviledge , but not entitlement .
This one i can remember .
Know what that meant ?
bros pls translate thank u

Entitlement is more of a legal aspect, it is a contractual agreement of sort. Like if drives for Trancab, you are entitled to month rebates provided you have no default in rental payment and so on in the agreement you signed.
Priviledge is given more on a goodwill basis, let say, suddenly Transcab makes alot of money in their financial report and decided to give a month rental free to it fleet of Taxis, that is a priviledge, something out of ordinary yet not abused. Or that because you are some club member, so you hv the priviledge to get the front row seats, but it is not entitled, if you cannot get the front seat, you cannot argue over it.
People tends to argue over priviledge more than entitlement, because they thought that priviledge is sort of a must, an entitlement, which is wrong in a sense.

It is true that paxs must do their part in loading and unloading their luggages, if pax stand there and look, then I will also stand there and look, I met quitea few Indian expatriat behave that way, no racist again, but I find these people still make singapore a chaste system like in indian, for them when travel from india, their cabby is consider a slave to them, everything also do, from opening door to carrying of all luggages, then when they reach singapore, they expect the same treatment, knn, treat ki lan lah.
Got once, this indian from india shouted at me like he is the master, I am the slave, then somehow, these indians luggages are usually very heavy one, so I told him, hello, no indian, I cannot die, but no sex, i cannot survive, fuck him and drove off. From rear mirror, he looks dumbed

Brother, it takes 2 hands to clap, tho a driver, we take as helping, a goodwill gestures, when paxs who also do the loaning appreciate it and thanks us, it is our priviledge and honour to help.
Seriously, i cannot understand why TD cannot (will not) help pax with their luggages.
I always help my paxes with luggagaes, but first they must pass two go/ no-go tests :
a. are they weaker than me? (And believe me, i am a very very weak person) Yes -> help. No -> go next test
b. are their wallets thicker than mine? Yes -> help. No ->too bad.
Hahahaha
The Heading :
Taxi Driver Should Help Passenger with Their Luggage ?
Taxi Company : There no regulation but we encourage.
The first line, if we read without the "?", what does it sound ?
These are a common tactic our media uses to influence people toward their own agenda. Our media are always in the front line to bring fault toward Taxi Driver, and lead the general public (and we Taxi Driver as well) to agree along with their direction.
What is their agenda? There are many possibilties, it is not difficult to link it to the Authority new revenue resources plan.
Guys, watch out....... we are going to
Taxi Driver Should Help Passenger with Their Luggage.
or
Taxi Driver Should Help Passenger with Their Luggage !
Failure, got complaint.......... that's Fine.
If this report are neutrally reported, the heading is
Should Taxi Driver Help Passenger With Their Luggage ?
Can see the difference these 2 line are leading?
As far as i know , CDG is the only cb co that emphasise must help pax with luggages. Everytime they send that Garbage Cabby magazine , inside will have those faces la who help with luggage , take picture get commendation .
I will only help if its ladies or old folks with heavy luggage without returns. Others of coz it will depend on the end trip fare .
$0 to keep the coins - Self service,my standard answer hello the boot open already.
$1 to $2 - step out , open boot ,carry the light ones, look around , act busy
$3 to $5 - step out , open boot , carry luggage
$5 to unlimited - step , out , open boot , push trolley , carry luggage , shake hand
See? who the fark says cabby dun help with luggage? knn
